In the Month of December we....

Held a "caption this" contest each week of December and winners picked a NEPA Rescue to receive a $25 donation. Rescues picked were: Animal Care Associates, Blue Chip Rabbitat, ANA Critters, Dessin Animal Shelter and Billy's New Hope Barn!

Held a "holiday oreos gift box" fundraiser. We only sold 12 dozen but we are grateful for those that ordered!

In the Month of November we:

Worked on and held our Raffle Basket Fundraiser at Drafts Bar & Grill. We had 24 raffle baskets! It was a fun day meeting new people!

Sent multiple Rescues Thanksgiving monetary donations.

We are slowly getting back into the swing of things.

We attended Pet Appreciation Day at Hamlin Tractor Supply with our information table. We enjoyed meeting new people and their adorable furbabies
July 2024
July was a challenging Month personally for co-founders Sue and Suzi. Surgery, a move, and the passing of Suzi's husband and Sue's mother. No fundraisers were held this Month.

In the Month of June we....

Sent supplies to Spooky's Lou's Cat Rescue.

Made a donation towards tenting for Ana's Critters.

Sue had fun creating this graphic for Ana Critters! Make sure you check out her exotic petting zoo and butterfly tent this summer at The Shoppes at Ritter's Farm in Mount Cobb.

Held our 2nd Pet Expo & Craft Fair which included 8 local animal rescues. Proceeds from this event will be donated to those rescues in attendance.

Held our online auction. Through the generosity of local businesses, we had 30 awesome auction items.

Continued work on our May Pet Expo & Craft Fair event.

Held a "Kitten Shower" food drive at Hayes Market in Waymart.

Ran an online auction with 29 awesome auction prizes!

Raffled off another awesome prize bundle including 2 hour tattoo session, gift certificate for shopping and gift card for pizza!

Joined Kitties of NEPA Rescue at Pet's Supplies Plus in Dickson City where there was a food drive, adoptable kitties...and the Easter Bunny!

In the Month of January we....​

Held a food drive at Hamlin Tractor Supply during their Pet Appreciation Day, alongside our friends from Animal Care Associates NEPA and Kitties of NEPA Rescue who had adoptable kitties.

Held a *flash fundraiser* for (4) Passes to the Kalahari Indoor Water Park
-
Donated supplies to two rescues from Chewy & Stately Pet Supply
In the Month of December we....​

Spread some holiday cheer with Christmas stockings and supplies for some kitties currently in rescue, as well as gift cards to multiple area animal rescues.

Donated funds to a local Rescue & Sanctuary for needed supplies.

Held a Cookie Walk Fundraiser at the Hamlin Library.

Held a two-day Designer Purse & Basket Raffle at Drafts Bar & Grill, Lake Ariel.

As we end the of year 2023, we are so thankful for all our supporters who have helped us assist 21 area rescues!

We look forward to 2024! Our goals for our 2nd year:

Continue assistance to the animal rescues/shelters from 2023.

Through the continued support and generosity of Chickadee Studio in Pleasant Mount, our handcrafted pet mats, kitty kickers and embellished paper clips are once again for sale at the shop with all proceeds going to our fund!

Delivered a supply of dog food to Northeast PA Pet Fund and Rescue (courtesy of Pet Central, Honesdale)

Hosted a successful online auction fundraiser. We will be able to help multiple rescues with the proceeds! Stay tuned for more details on that.

Put together "kitten kits" with supplies to help with the influx of kittens during kitten season.

Coordinated a pet food drive by Pawpack Doggy Daycare for Victim's Intervention Program's pet shelter.

Co-hosted a food drive with Animal Care Associates Scranton at Stately Pet Supply in Clarks Summit. Suzi also had the pleasure of meeting Wally of "Where's Wally Now"!

Hosted an informational table & food drive at Pet Central, Honesdale. Funds were raised to purchase kitten food & supplies for area rescues as we enter Kitten Season.

Donations were made to: Billy's New Hope Barn, Bunny Brigade Inc. & The Junction Cat Rescue.

Co-hosted a food drive and adoption event at the Hamlin Tractor Supply with Kitties of NEPA. Funds were raised to help with their veterinary expenses. Suzi Roe also presented them with the check from our Fun Pasta Fundraiser!

We hosted a FUN PASTA Fundraiser in February and raised over $250 for Kitties of NEPA Animal Rescue!
January 2023
Friends for Rescues NEPA was able to cover the cost for three cats, part of a local community, to be spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

Our crafters have been busy making crafts for our upcoming events.
December 2022
We held a Cookie Pick and Raffle Fundraiser at the Hamlin Library.
​
We surprised Animal Care Associates with a little shopping spree for litter, food and treats! They also received some fluffy cat mats and toys made by our very own Suzi Roe.
